Mission Statement

White Oak Swimming Club is committed to fostering a friendly club environment that allows all its members to enjoy swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle. In particular we:

• welcome swimmers of all abilities, ensuring that they can achieve their goals

• place a strong emphasis on teaching and developing swimming skills.

• provide a stretching training and competitive regime for the more able swimmers.

• aim to achieve this by providing a secure and caring environment where every member is valued and encouraged to work together as a team to achieve their goals.

General Information About The Club

White Oak Swimming Club was founded in 1967. It is one of the top clubs in the area and caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities. We have a well-qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic coaching team and train at White Oak Leisure Centre, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, Kent, BR8 7BT. We have several squads to suit swimmers needs and we successfully compete in all levels of Galas.

Club nights are every Wednesday evening. This is where committee members and helpers are on hand to meet parents and answer any questions. There is also a club shop every Wednesday selling swimming hats, T bags and other items.

We run the ASA Badge Scheme for competitive swimmers where badges can be achieved for swimming distances in certain times . We have four Club Championships each year, monthly time trials and many Galas with other clubs.
