Volunteers

There are many ways that you can help our club:

• At club events - taking round refreshments, running the raffle and acting as door stewards.

• Competitions. Arranging Galas. Entries compiled for Club / County Championships, and Open Meets. Medals for the Club Championships have to be ordered and the trophies engraved.

• Could you help at poolside as an official? Help is always required with time trials and galas from being a timekeeper to a judge. If you find this interesting, arrangements can be made for you to learn more about the sport from the judging side.

• Press and Publicity Officers are invaluable to ensure all our news and results from Open Meets, County and Regional Championships appears in the local paper and in general, ensure the public are kept aware of our existence.

• Fund raising and sponsorship, which is one way to keep subscriptions from rising too much as costs increase.

These are some of the 'behind the screens' jobs that are carried out by volunteers. There is a job for anyone who wishes to volunteer. Without the help of volunteers the club would cease to exist so your time will be very much appreciated.
