Saxon Crown Future Champions - Open
Congratulations to those who took part in this event. Millie Bach came 4th in the Girls U/10 25m Butterfly. Ruairir Dennehy achieved 1st place in Boys U/10 25m Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & 2nd in freestyle. He also took home the Best Boy award.
Millennium League - Eltham
Congratulations to everyone who competed in this event, which was held at Downham. Due to circustances beyond our control the pool was not ready which resulted in a considerable delay, parents and competitors were moved from pillow to post, before the serious business could begin. Despite all the distractions the swimmers remained focused and the evening got off to a steady start with our swimmers scoring good points with few time faults. The racing throughout was good and competitive with us continueing to gain good results. This resulted in a close but victorious finish.
Marjorie Fountain Trophy gala - Dartford
Well done to everyone who participated in this gala. By all accounts there were lots of excellent performances. Despite many time faults this gala went right down to the final race with the hosts Dartford just edging us into second place: The final positions were as follows.
1st) Dartford 198 Points, 2nd) White Oak 194 points, 3rd) Erith 189 points,
4th) Larkfield 144 points, 5th Lewis 137points & 6th Bromley 132 points.
Thanks to all the officials and helpers.
Olympics
Congratulations to Adam Freundlich who competed at 100m Breaststroke in the British Olympic team trials recently. Although, Adam did not make the olympic team he did achieve a new personal best.
Fantastic achievement.
New Club Record
Harrison Cornwell smashed the Under 10 Boys 1l freestyle club record at the March Club Championships when he achieved a time of 25.25 seconds. This was quite an achievement as rumor has it he even found time to make sure he had not lost his trunks.
Congratulations Harrison.
Antwiss Trophy Gala
We arrived at Sevenoaks for this gala with a very young team, many
of our older swimmers were either too fast for this gala, sick or
injured. Despite this handicap many of our swimmers surpassed themselves
and put in some brilliant performances. Whilst having swimmers as
youg as 11 competing in the 16 & under races we were able to
hold our heads up high and finished a very respectable 4th place
overall. Many of the swimmers competed in many events with some
achieving personal bests. Our congratulations go to the following:
Tom Leaver, Rhianne Turrell, Ben Connor, Chelsey Bell, Robbie Sims,
Megan Stuart, Georgina Cornwell, Oliver Mason, Tara Dennehy, Michael
Moxom, Maddie Harvey, Harrison Cornwell, Alex Brace, Charlie Leaver,
Kane Boreman & Omid Hakimazari. Click

Well done everyone.
Millennium League - Greenwich
The Millennium League started with a few surprises. What a pleasure it was to use the new Eltham pool, which was light and airy, a total contrast to the old pool which could at best be described as dull and dreary. The new surroundings certainly brought the best out of our swimmers with almost all achieving personal best times, which is a fantastic achievement.
Throughout the evening the racing was good and competitive with
lots of close finishes White Oak finnished 4th at the end of the
evening, which was a good result as we dragged ourselves up from
last place. The early stages of the gala did not go as anticipated
as we were time faulted in 6 of the first 12 races.
This has the makings of being a good competitive league this year
with only 10 gala points seperating 4 teams. Click
here to see the gala results and the League table.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in this gala. Thank you to the parents for their support and to those who assisted on pool side.
The next Millennium gala is at Larkfield, Sunday 30th March.

Paul Chatley
Relay Gala
Congratulations
to all who swam in the Paul Chatley Relay Gala at Dartford. It was
an excellent example of good team work that resulted in White Oak
retaining the shield for the second year.
Again well done to all that swam.
Communication
The club is striving to improve communication with its members. The
easiest and most cost effective way would be via E-mail. If you would
like to receive quarterly newsletters and details of other important
changes via this means please could you let Steve Turrell have your
E-mail address or E-mail it to
along with the swimmers name. Please be assured that this will not
be used for any other purpose without your prior agreement. In order
for this to work it is imperative that you inform me of any E-mail
address changes as and when appropriate.
